Coelognathus helena

The first UK breeding of the Indian Trinket Snake was by Trevor Smith in the 80's. A species that has always had a following in the hobby because of its beauty and placid temperament.
Over the last few years some lighter specimens have entered into the hobby, which have been given the name 'Blonde/Golden'. This is not genetic, but a Sri Lanka locality trait. The photos below are Sri Lanka specimens.

I am a private breeder based in the UK, with a keen interest in all Ratsnakes, especially Elaphe dione, of which I keep and breed several localities and morphs.
