Xian or Xi'an locality Dione Ratsnakes originate from Central-northwest China in the province of Shaanxi in the vicinity of Xi'an city. Brought into captivity by Rainer Fesser (Austria) and first bred by Tula Exortium.  This localities distinguishing characteristics are a light yellow doral stripe with yellow borders around the blotches and red flecking of individual scales on the background. A very pretty locality that isn't widely available in captivity.
