Orthriophis t. taeniurus - T+ Albino
T+ Albino in the Chinese Beauty Snake is a simple recessive mutation. There is also a T- Albino in the hobby which is not compatible with the T+ eg: if you breed a T+ and T- Albino together the hatchlings will be all normal looking but heterozygous for both traits.
The T+ Albino female I have is a Paradox. When she was a hatchling she had what appeared to be a few dark smudges of dark grey on her, initially I thought that this might be marker pen, but she sloughed and the marks where still there; if anything slightly darker. As she matured the paradoxing has got darker and new areas have shown up. Paradoxing in most other species is not a genetic trait, I fully expect her abnormal colouration not to be also.
Several Albino Chinese Beauties have been discovered in the wild over the years, as well as several other morphs including Hypomelanistic, Anerythristic & Striped.
